Rocky Mountain MS Research Group Multiple Sclerosis Research Programs

UPCOMING INVESTIGATOR INITIATED TRIALS SPONSORED BY ROCKY MOUNTAIN MS RESEARCH GROUP

Dr. Foley and the Research Group staff are working on several trials that are being conducted within the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Clinic. These studies advance the scientific knowledge on multiple sclerosis, MS treatment options, and MS treatment safety.

We have two studies currently enrolling. The first one is for people living with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (SPMS) or Clinical Isolated Syndrome (CIS). The second study is for people living with RRMS who are going to be treated with natalizumab or are currently taking natalizumab, interferon beta-1a or glatiramer acetate.

Dr. Liquin Zhou has been working with John F. Foley, MD on quantitative electroencephalography (EEG) analysis since 2006, using power spectral analysis tools. Currently, Dr. Zhou is leading the process in developing innovative methods of EEG signal processing, presentation, and clinical application for MS patients.

If you are interested in getting further information about any of these studies, you can call the Research Office at 801-408-5700.
